POSTING INFORMATION

Alongside my craft items, flags and books, I sell quality packaging and use the same items I sell to pack my orders for despatch.

Having worked in a Post Office I am aware that parcels may be handled pretty roughly during their journey from me to you, so I take great care to pack your items appropriately.

HOW ARE PARCELS PACKED?

Most small items are packed in bubble mailers, with extra bubblewrap if needed to cushion fragile items.

Larger items, such as the boxes of board backed envelopes, are wrapped in bubblewrap, then either wrapped in high quality pure Kraft paper or thick black pallet wrap, which provides a waterproof layer.

The boxes of bubble mailers are sent in their original box, unopened, and then wrapped in black pallet wrap to provide a waterproof layer that also strengthens the package.

Loosefill (packing peanuts) are double bagged to avoid tearing during the shipping process. The bags used are rubble sacks.

Every order includes an invoice for your records, attached to the outsde of the parcel, and is clearly addressed.

HOW ARE PARCELS DESPATCHED?

I have been using the Royal Mail to despatch my orders since 2001 when I started selling on Ebay.

During that time I have sent several thousand parcels and less than five of them have been lost completely.

Items weighing less than 2 kilos are sent by First Class post, and should get to you 1-2 days following the date of posting.

I use Parcelforce 24 or 48 hour services for items heavier than 2 kilos, which should get to you either 1 or 2 days following the date of posting.

For a further charge I can upgrade your order to Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery if using First Class post - if you want an upgrade for your order you will need to email me before you pay for it.

Items sent outside the United Kingdom are sent by Airmail.

Parcels for Western and Eastern Europe should get to you in three days following the day of posting.

Parcels for destinations outside of Europe should get to you in five days following the day of posting.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHEN MY ORDER WAS POSTED?

You can find out when your order was despatched by searching my forum.

You will need your Sale ID number or numbers, which you can find on any of the emails I sent you about your order.

Your Sale ID number is a four digit number such as 1234.

If your order has been despatched, your search result will show the post or posts containing details of how and when it was despatched.

If your order does not appear in the search results, either it has not been posted, or it is too early in the day for me to have added the despatch list for that day. Another reason could be that I am not aware of your payment yet.

I get my Royal Mail parcels collected at approximately 10.30am Monday to Friday, and should have filled in the despatch details on the forum by 12 noon.

There may be more than one post in a day, so you could also check after 6pm.

I get my Parcelforce parcels collected at approximately 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and should have filled in the despatch on the forum details by 6pm.
